One of the best restaurants in Bologna. Very popular with locals The food is wow and service amazing. We were there on a rainy day, and the outdoor space couldn't be used. We had to wait about 30 minutes for indoor seating, but the owner brought us wine and parmo cheese while we waited. Reservations needed put this one on your to-do list.

GORGEOUS ALLEY RESTAURANT recommend by locals. We got the bolognese pasta (5/10), ribeye stake (7/10), and the tortellini (100/10) SO GOOD. We (3) went without reservations and sat in the terrace which is also pet friendly. ATMOSPHERE was lovely and welcoming with the string lights accompanying the night.

This was one of the best restaurants I experienced during my 10-day trip in Tuscany! I had a four-course meal, too hungry The mussels in tomato sauce were absolutely delicious, though I wish they were a bit larger so I could savor them even more! The spaghetti with vongole was fantastic, and my boyfriend's homemade pasta with ragu was equally delicious. The beef carpaccio was refreshing and perfect for the warm weather. And the panna cotta was simply superb—I’ve never had such rich textures in a panna cotta before. The staff were so friendly and patience in recommending dishes to us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We were so impressed that we immediately made a reservation for tomorrow’s dinner before leaving Bologna.

I read reviews online. Mostly good, a few negative ones. I saw the quiet alleyway dining and thought this was the place. We made a reservation but came early. The manager/ director got us our table quickly without issue. We started with a plate of Salumi and meatballs. The mortadella was the best I have ever had. The meatballs were served in a ragu that just covered the meatballs. We ordered a steak, tortellini, rabbit, tagliatelle in bolagnese, and a cutlet. It was above our expectations. The cutlet was pork which took us by surprise but we happily ate it and ordered another steak for that member of our party. The sommelier suggested a Sangiovese from Bologna. It paired well. Notes of cherry, plum, pepper, leggy and tannic with the bolognese it was a symphony of flavour. Service was attentive, kind and engaging. We felt lucky to be there and we were treated like a new friend. We communicated our issue with the cutlet, and it was resolved quickly. we talked about where we lived and where we had been. The manager was engaging all while directing the other servers We wish we had room for dessert, but the portions were ample and we filled up quickly. Great experience for our first night in Bologna. I had the chance to try it twice, and both times I can say the taste and service were above average. It’s a classic Italian restaurant in every way, from the décor to the service and the tableware used. The menu is very rich, and everything we tried was delicious. The ribeye was especially well cooked, and the tiramisu was quite good. So why 4 stars? The restaurant’s ventilation system was insufficient, and we ended up eating while sweating inside. They need to fix this.

I had a great experience at Ristorante Teresina! This is a nice restaurant hidden in a side street of Bologna. It is a bit pricey, but the prices are comparable to those of other sit-down restaurants in Italy. The service is nice as well. Everyone at the restaurant was very friendly and were very understanding when we struggled to pronounce the names of the dishes. They were also very helpful in splitting the check for us. We found Ristorante Teresina while walking the streets of Bologna. We were intrigued by the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. Luckily, the food was just as good. We ordered the clams, a charcuterie board, and mozzarella with tomatoes as our appetizers. They were all delicious, especially the mozzarella, which was very fresh. For my main, I ordered the spaghetti with mantis shrimp. The dish tasted great, but was very messy. I had to peel the tomato sauce covered shrimp with my hands, which ended with me completely covered in sauce as well. However, this is something you have to expect with this type of dish. My only suggestion is that they should provide wipes with the mantis shrimp.

This restaurant is really a hidden gem. We almost walked by, without noticing. We were fortunate that we walked back and had our diner here. The cook really knows what she or he is doing. Traditional Italian recipes are perfected,by perfect seasoning. When you visit Bologna, this is definitely a must eat!

We went here based on a recommendation from our hotel. It is on the pricier side but the pasta here was really amazing. The kind that I want to try to repeat at home. Especially the Sicilian pasta with anchovies was fantastic, although the filled pastas were also amazing.
